Come experience an exciting big game hunt with excellent accommodations and fun camaraderie. Hunts are based from National Forest or private land. We offer a limited number of private land spaces, creating high probability hunts. Our guides have developed a unique sense for the movement of the elk and mule deer, logging hundreds of hours in the back country observing their habits and habitat. Typically one guide works with two guests. Our two main cabins, Bellyache and the H&S D Lodge, have all the comforts and necessities of home with extras like a full-service chef and hot tub access. Located at 9,400 foot elevation, our primary tent camp is Base Camp, which has heated, carpeted wall tents. We also utilize several back country tents and cabins and provide cooking stoves, kitchen utensils, and comfortable bunks or cots. Call for details about drop camps and to customize your trip.

All hunts are five days. Arrival is the day before the hunt and departure is the day after the hunt, for total of seven days.
To ensure your safety, Pack Country Outfitters offers Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) sampling on site. Elk and Mule deer testing is available through the University of Wyoming diagnostic lab at the customer's request. Please let us know if you are interested in this service, and we will take and send the sample for an additional charge of $75.
Hunt Provisions: Hunts include elk and mule deer (all mule deer licenses are drawing only). License fees are not included. One guide per two guests, unless otherwise requested. We will transfer meat for processing and care for your capes.
Booking Policy: 50% deposit is required to confirm hunt date. Deposits are nonrefundable.
